My fiancee and I seen a pamphlet for Rally Point Retreat in my psychologist's office last month. We decided that it would be a great idea to try it. The initial contact via phone, immediately put us at ease, since we had no idea of what to expect. I dislike crowds, so it was nice to know that no one else was booked for the same weekend as us. Upon arrival, we felt the peacefulness of nature surrounding us, coupled with nice wild ponds. Maggie and Sarah (the extremely friendly and trained puppies) were the first to greet us. They are truly charming! Jo and Bob gave us a tour of their one level spacious home and showed us our large bedroom and even larger ensuite bathroom. The atmosphere was relaxing and we spent most of the weekend chatting outside with this amazing couple. We shared our experiences... Copious tears and laughs were exchanged. Our second most enjoyable moments were in the woodshop, where we learned how to turn our on pens...they would easily sell for $50 to $100 in the city! Of course, we have them on display at home, since they are a remembrance of our time at Rally Point Retreat. We plan on returning in the future...it is a must for positive relief of PTSD symptoms!
