HI. My Stay at Rally Point was in a Word atm very Much needed and I'm so Thankful Jo & Bob had opened their home to Veterans in Need. I was living in CB and was trying to adjust to all that was happening in My life & Needed! To get Away . I also had quite unexpectedly met and was deeply in Love with a Man who unfortunately was suffering from PTS & had had quite different life then Me . They agreed for him to come to knowing his past ( long jail term & Native also no secret his sentence was longer then should have been. He at one point in life been one of few great hunters and fish for his band & due to childhood trauma etc led himself into a way of life he hadn't intended. They were very supportive for him to go which was a Wonderful feeling for Us both . Due to the band drug and Alcohol therapist lack of care would not sign a release so He was unable to go. Still My heart and his were warmed by the very thought These ppl would have taken him in also for healing. ( He has most recently passed) but I know even them saying Yes filled him with comfort. For that I am very Thankfil. I could only go down for a few days as at the time they were full capacity & had made room for My stay so as I could at least catch My breath and Rest. Much needed . I also got to make a pen with Bob and just that gave Me some of My confidence back which was at a all time low for a long time. I was able to walk in their woods under no threat with their dogs as My companions and felt I could relax & not be so on guard. Their hospitality was wonderful. Great meals comfy Home and My heart feels So much better!! just knowing they are there . As I as a Veteran and also Army Brat do no longer have a place called home nor Roots as most do in CB do so feeling of misplaced is Strong until I went there. I did need to go back later but understandable they were full as it's a much needed place. I am So Thankful they decided to open there home to ppl like Me. Forever Grateful. I had thought I written in guest book after My stay some time ago. My Apologizes as at the time was not really aware of alot on Social Media. I Will definitely be back as in a Word They have made it feel like Home. Thank You Bob & Jo . Blessings
