This is Patches. It's moulting time and his spectacular tail feathers have fallen out.But he is the same caring rooster who points out delicious morsels for the hens. He let's them eat first.
He still dances and woos his girls.
He protects them.
He still puts out his chest and stands tall.
We were gifted 8 fruit trees so now we have a pawpaw patch! Four to seven years from now we should have mango shaped fruit that taste like bananas. Oh and persimmons too! A happy error means three of those trees are persimmons.Let there be fruit!
